Your Lessons

You choose what to study.

One World Learning offers a variety of lessons to choose from. You can pick and mix your classes when you like with only 7 days notice. We need time to arrange the schedules! Here are some of the lessons available. Talk to your teacher if there is a special subject that you would like to study.

Speakout

One World Learning uses Speakout Active Teach Coursebooks which are digital versions of the classroom books and are fully interactive. The award-winning course invites the student to discover English as it is really spoken. The course builds up all the skills and knowledge you need to express yourself confidently in a real English-speaking environment. The course includes BBC content and additional podcasts.

You will receive a copy of the coursebook which can be viewed on a PC or device and all listening and video tasks will be loaded into your student folder for you to review.

All aspects of grammar and vocabulary including phrasal verbs and idiomatic language for all levels can be added to your Lesson Package. Submit the lessons that you want and time that you would like to study and we will add them to the schedule.


Homework Support will be invoiced for every 15 minutes of support.

Homework support is available for any student from Junior High School to University level. We will help you understand what is required for you to complete any aspect of English related homework tasks. If you would like Homework support, let us know as soon as possible and we will get you the support that you need.

We won’t do the homework for you though!

Homework and Class task support for all ages and levels.


Weekly topics for discussion and debate at various levels can also be included in your package. Lessons are based on recent news events or more controversial incidents around the world. These lessons include audio and video interaction and may require the student to research for a structured debate during the lesson.

Exam preparation classes for Cambridge A2 Key (formerly KET), B1 Preliminary (formerly PET), B2 First (formerly FCE), C1 Advanced (formerly CAE) and IELTS.

If you wish to attend a university or other higher education centre that offers study programmes in English, you should take the IELTS Academic test. Thousands of the world’s most esteemed universities and colleges will accept your IELTS results as proof of your English language skills.
